I want to have it so that I appear online so others can chat and it will go to my cell. Is this possible?
Is there a way to have my cell phone linked with google chat on my gmail?
If your cellphone supports accessing POP3 email, you can activate POP3 within Gmail (found in the settings link of gmail) and then setup the phone to access Gmail via POP3.
Usually, only smartphones support this feature however. Some phones such as iPhone and Blackberry feature this (as an example).
